Starting with beeswax mixed with a damar resin, I add oil paint to make my palate of colors. I then uses a variety of techniques to create beautiful layered imagery within the wax. Much of what is embedded in these unique pieces is organic material collected from many walks among my gardens. I also use re-purposed paper, as well as found objects
I want each piece to not only be a work of art, but a memory of a particular time and place, or feeling. This concept also transcends to my workshops, creating an incrediblymemorable experience for participants.
Please contact me if you wish to display art in your business, restaurant, office or cafe. Art for purchase is available, but I will also work on consignment, or short term rotating loans.
Donations of art for fundraisers and community events also available.
